ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 5th FEBRUARY 2015

1.DONATIONS :   * Today’s lunch is sponsored by Ramanlal Mistry to celebrate his 80th birthday, which was yesterday.  Further his wife has made an eggless cake at home and it will be served today to all during lunch.  Everybody sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song and wished Ramnalal.  Kendra’s many thanks to the couple and also pray that  Ramanlal celebrates many more birthdays.
                              *’Chaas’ for the month of February is sponsored by Vanlila and Sharad Mehta.  They have also sponsored Tea and Biscuits for the whole month.  Many thanks to both of them from Kendra.
                             * £55 from Hemaben and Vinod Mehta, on the occasion of their 55th Wedding Anniversary.  Congratulations and Best Wishes to them and we pray that they enjoy many more anniversaries to come.
                             * £50 from Neenaben and Anil Bhuva on the occasion of their 40th Wedding Anniversary, which was on 2nd Feb and the ‘punya thithi’ of Anils’ father. Congratulations and Best Wishes to them and we pray that they enjoy many more anniversaries to come.

2.  Today’s ‘Antakshri’ programme after lunch was postponed as Ramanlal Mistry had made arrangements to show a video on ‘Atma Gyan’and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve sponsored tea and biscuits.

3. Next week on 12th Feb we will have a programme on the theme ‘Valentine Day’. But, with a difference.  Not only couples but any two members can come and recite any shairi, song or show DVD or praise any one.  Names to be given to Jasuben Sheth.

4.  On Sunday - 8th March at 12.00 noon, we have booked a Gujarati play “CHORNA HAATHMA CHAVI” by Kiran Purohit.  Tickets will be £10.  Members can have their breakfast and come and see the play.  Maybe they can then have their lunch in Ealing Road.  Tkts are now on sale at the Main Desk.

5. We have organised a very colourful and enjoyable programme on 16th April to renew the marriage vows of couples.  A special ‘panditji’ will come on that day. Members wishing to take part should give their names to Jasuben.  So far 11 couples names have been received and a few more names can be given.

6.  Our 18 day trip to Japan & Korea from 11th to 28th May is almost full and any new names will be put on the waiting list. The cost for members is £3400 and for non-members £3450.

7. This is a reminder for the Managing Committee members.  Our meeting will be held on Tuesday – 10th Feb at 10.00 am at Jayantbhai Doshi’s house on 32 Adelaide Close, Stanmore, HA7 3EN.  Please arrive in time.

8.  Please hang your coats on the Coat Hanger, which is kept near the main door.  Members are requested not to occupy chairs with their coats.

9. Newsletter for February has been sent by email to members and has also been uploaded on our Website.  Few hard copies are available for those who have no access to emails.  Please note that previous Newsletters and Announcements are found on our Website : www.nvk.org.uk. 10.  Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai will be visiting London and will have three discourses at
The JFS School, The Mall, Kenton from 20 to 22nd Feb.

11.  Those who have lost their Membership Card can obtain another one on payment of £2.

12.  Everyone including all guests are requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table and Guests are requested to obtain their Passes from Vinod Parekh.
