ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 14th MAY 2015
1 Today the Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Dineshbhai Shah and Manishaben gave health tips. Many thanks to both of them.
2. After lunch today we will have ‘Antakshri’ and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve tea and biscuits.
3. Next Thurs – 21th May we have a programme of Musical Chairs.
4. For Our annual trip to Manor House & Ashbury Hotels in Devon is from Sunday - 21st June to Thursday - 26th June, if you are interested please give your name. Please note that if we do not have 26 names we will postpone the trip. The price (Two sharing) is £280 for members and £290 for guests.
5. On 1st June we will go to see The Memories Match cricket for over 60s, at the Lords cricket ground to see the LV County Championship match between Middlesex and Warwickshire. Today is the last day to give your names with the payment of £1.
6. We have arranged our first picnic on Tuesday -9th June, at the Verulamium Park in St. Albans. There will be Yoga in the morning, followed by brunch and walk around the park. We will have a late lunch. Price is £15 for all. The coach will depart at 8.00 am from Kenton Library. If you are interested, please give your names to Ashok Mehta. We should have 45 names for the picnic.
7. We are pleased to inform members that we have managed to get the £30 tickets for £15 for the show at SSE Arena, Wembley on Sunday -21st June from 6.00 to 9.00 pm. If you are interested in coming please give your names with payment.
8. In future we are having programmes of presenting a Gujarati Natak and a Quiz to find NVK’s ‘Sabse saana kaun’. If you are interested in taking part in any of these, please give you names to Jasuben Sheth.
9. Everyone, including guests, is requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table. Guests are requested to obtain their Pass from Vinod Parekh.
10. Jasuben Sheth read the names of those taking part in the gujarati natak. She requested all of them to meet Vinodbhai Kapashi in the Foyer immediately after lunch. She also gave the names of those taking part in ‘Sabse Saana Kaun in Kendra’programme.. She further announced that on 11th June, Manuben Pindoria will demonstrate Rangoli art.
