ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 28th MAY 2015

1.Today’s gathering was held in the top floor hall at the last minute.

2.  After lunch today we will have a talk by Tarlaben Doshi and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve tea and biscuits.

3.  Next Thurs – 4th June Jyotsnaben Shah of Gujarat Samachar will give a talk.

4.  Those who had gone on the Japan & Korea trip have now returned after enjoying their holidays.

5.  On 1st June we will go to see The Memories Match cricket for over 60s, at the Lords cricket ground to see the LV County Championship match between Middlesex and Warwickshire. Please collect your tickets today from the Main Desk. You can come at any time at your convenience, during the day. Those who want to join in Group from Wembley Park, please come there latest by 9.30am.  We will take the last coach to St. Johns Wood and walk to the Cricket ground through the Grace Gate.  Please note that the tickets are not transferrable and names will be checked before entry is given.  Also inform others who are joining us.

6. On 2nd June we are going to London Palladium for the ‘Beyond Bollywood’ show at 7.30pm.
Those who want to join in Group from Wembley Park, please come there latest by 6.30pm.       We will take the last coach to Baker Street and again to Oxford Circus before walking to Argyll Street.

7.  We have arranged our first picnic on Tuesday -9th June, at the Verulamium Park in St. Albans. There will be Yoga in the morning, followed by brunch and walk around the park.  We will have a late lunch.  Price is £15 for all.  The coach will depart from Sattavis Patidar Centre (where you can park your cars). You are requested to come before 8.30am. Members can come in their own cars but have to pay £5.  Please give us your names in advance with payment for catering purpose.
      
8. We are pleased to inform members that we have managed to get the £30 tickets for £15 for the “JAANTA RAJA” – the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji show at SSE Arena, Wembley on Sat-20th/Sunday -21st June from 6.00 to 9.00 pm.

9.  Navnat Vanik Association has embarked on a Play area Project at Hayes, and has applied for Aviva Community Fund.  All Navnat members support is very very essential to get the maximum votes of support.  So far about 250 votes have been received and the deadline is 30th May.  Navnatees are sincerely requested that they take some time and open the link given to all members in NVA circular and vote for the project.  This is very important for our grand- children. Remember only THREE DAYS are now remaining to give your vote.

10. Everyone, including guests, is requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table. Guests are requested to obtain their Pass from Vinod Parekh.

11.Jasuben Sheth announced that there will be no drama practice today as Vinodbhai Kapashi will not be available.  However he has emailed the whole play to all those who gave their names.  They are requested to familiarise with the play and come at 10.30am next Thurs – 4th June for a brief.
