1.Today the Warm-Up Yoga was conducted by Jayeshbhai Shah.  Many thanks to him from Kendra.

2. Please note that tea will be served to you, hence no one should get up and go to the serving table.

After lunch Pragnaben Mandalia introduced the Two Lions Clubs members – Martin George and Dineshbhai Dave,  who distributed to all present a ‘Message In Wallet’( to be kept with you at all times)  and ‘Message in Box’(which is to be kept in a freeze) and gave detailed information about the medical data which is to be stored in these.  This information is very useful in case of emergencies.  Many thanks to Pragnaben Mandalia for arranging this programme.

5. This year Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Thursdays whereby we will miss two Thursdays. We are considering meeting on Tuesday 30th December.  Please let us have your view if you are attending by putting your name on the list at the Front Desk. So far over 105 members have stated that they will attend.

6.  We will be celebrating our 8th Anniversary and New Year 2015 on 8th January 2015 and tickets will be £1.00 for members and £15.00 for guests.  The programme will start at 10.30am
The small charge is to monitor inflow of attendance and ordering lunch from the caterers. Please remember that last minute bookings for attendance will strictly not be entertained, neither will be members who will turn up on the day without tickets.

7.  Harshadbhai Sanghrajka who is the President of Institute of Jainology had the honour and privilege to be invited by the Vatican to represent Jains worldwide last week. He presented a paper on Jain perspective and Jain philosophical view on the topic : ‘Complementarity of Man & Woman in Marriage’. These were very well received at the Colloquium and His Holiness The Pope personally met Harshadbhai.  We are proud of his work. Please keep up the good work.

8. Despite previous announcements about many members taking two glasses of ‘chaas’ and one of water and again taking new glasses when going for refill, it is noticed that members keep on doing this.  We request members that Kendra belongs to all of us and it is our duty to ensure that we economise wherever it is possible.

9.  Everyone is requested to sign in the Register at the main Table including all guests.  Guests should ensure to obtain Guest Passes from the Front Desk.
