NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THUR –10/1/2019
1). It is with extreme sadness that we have to inform the passing away of two of our former NVK members :
VASANTRAI VANMALIDAS SANGHRAJKA passed away on 8/1. He was the husband of our member – Kokilaben V Sanghrajka.
VIJYABEN CHIMANLAL SHAH (SANGHRAJKA) passed away on 5/1. She was the cousin of our past President – Baburai Shah, sister to our members Manharbhai Mehta and also to Hansaben Khira.
NVK’s condolences to the families of both the deceased. We pray to Lord Mahavir to rest their souls in eternal peace and also to give courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude. A minute’s silence was observed by all members to pray for their souls to rest in peace. OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI
2). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Dineshbhai Shah and Manishaben conducted Yogic poses for Back and Abdomen muscles and ‘Asanas’ to tone up the internal organs. Many thanks to both from Kendra.
3). DONATIONS: £ 101 from Dr. Ushaben Bilaney in celebration of birth of their grand children twins – Ava and Noah. NVK’s Heartiest Congratulations and thanks to the family.
4). Today, after lunch we will have Antakshri and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
(Ellaben Shah and Ramaben Doshi conducted the antakshri and many members took part)
5). Next Thurs – 17th Jan we will have a programme of a discussion programme on the topic “Whatsup ki kamal ke dhamaal”.
6). Last Thursday we announced about the invitation received from Lions Club for 10 members to attend the annual Lions Club party at Harrow Leisure Centre from 1.30 to 5.00 pm on Sun – 10th Feb from Ashwinbhai Sheth who is the husband of our member – Gauriben Sheth. We need ten names from those who have never attended this party before.
7). President – Vinod Parekh announced that the Vanik Council (UK) had also offered invitation for 5 more members for the Lions Club party. Those who have never attended the party before, should give their names. He also said that Jasuben Sheth may be coming later on and will give us the programme after lunch otherwise we will play Antakshri.
