NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA - ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 14TH DEC 2017
1). Today, Manishaben conducted ‘Pranayams’, ‘Surya Namaskars’ and many Yogic exercises to strengthen, clean and make healthy internal organs. Many thanks to her from Kendra.
2). DONATIONS : 2 Boxes of Chocolates from Pushpaben Patel to celebrate the birth of a grand-daughter – Jenna Lalji on 16/10. Kendra’s Heartiest Congratulations and Best Wishes.
3). We regret that we had to change the programme after lunch at the last minute. We will have our member: Chandrakant Shah who is going to narrate his experiences on his journey in a Auto Rickshaw from Mumbai to Kaniyakumari in South and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
(Chandrakant Shah narrated his interesting journey to raise funds for charity with 13 members in 5 auto rickshaws with the help of projector and slides.)
4). Next Thurs – 21st Dec, we will have Carol singing.
5). Today, we will continue with our “Sewa/Welfare” at Birchwood Care Home from 2.00 to 4.00pm and the volunteers will have their lunch and leave from here at 1.30pm. Last week they went to Meera Nursing Home.
6). Today is the last day for members to renew their membership.
7). Please note that we will remain closed on 28th Dec due to Christmas holidays.
8). Harshadbhai Sanghrajka has sent his Best Wishes to all members from Koba in Gujarat. He also said that he had received a notice from Bank Of Baroda to link his Bank A/C with Aadhar and Pan Card, otherwise it will become inoperative from 1/1/ 2018. He therefore checked with NRI Branch in Mumbai and got confirmation that unless one spends over 180 days in India, one has no right to apply for these cards. So those who have received such notices should write directly to their banks and inform that they are NRI/OCI/PIO and as such the banks can ask for any other proof.
