NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON FRI –14th Feb 19
1). Today, Mr Michael had come to teach the different styles about Tai Chi and its health benefits.
Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. Originally developed as a martial art in 13th century China, Tai Chi is now practised around the world as a health promoting exercise.
2). DONATIONS: * £51 from Vinodbhai Kapashi on the occasion of celebrating his wife – Sudhaben’s birthday today. Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations and Best Wishes. * £51 from Nitin Patel, who celebrated his 70th birthday on 25/1. He has also brought chocolates for distribution to all members.
Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations and Best Wishes to both of them and we pray that they enjoy many more birthdays to come. Everybody joined in singing the ‘Happy Birthday’ song for both.

3). After lunch today we will play special Valentine Bingo games and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea/coffee and biscuits.
Mahendra Vora conducted the Bingo and all the prize winners were presented with usual prizes and also a red rose – actually an eatable Rose Lolly (Strawberry flavour) which the winner had to present to his/her spouse or friends singing appropriate love songs. Many Valentine humorous messages or poems were also recited. Our VP – Vinodbhai Kapashi also presented a rose to Sudhaben on her birthday today.

4). Next Thurs –21/2 we will have a programme by Nimaben Kakad on the subject : “ Aapna Bhula padi rahela bhulkao ane Navi Pedhi je multi culture ni”
5). If you have not booked you tickets for the full day musical programme on Thurs – 7th March 2019 please do so. Members have to book their tickets for £1 and guests are welcome for £15. Tickets from the Main Desk at the entrance from Kishor Doshi. There will be a Special Meal but no Yoga on that day.
6). President - Vinod Parekh announced that all the members who had given their names for the Lions party this year had attended and had a wonderful time. He also informed that the tickets for our Music show should be booked by next week as we have now reached our maximum capacity.
