Kendra welcomes all the guests who have come today.
Today’s Warm up Yoga by Dhirubhai Galani was a real fun with Bollywood style dancing exercises on music. Everyone enjoyed this.
In fact this was a rehearsal of what is going to happen tomorrow morning all over Gujarat in India with plenty of ladus and jalebis. We are awaiting the wonderful official news.

Today’s lunch is sponsored by Nanalal & Kokila Solani to celebrate their daughter – Dr. Reena’s wedding. Kendra’s heartiest thanks to them and congratulations and Best Wishes to the newly wedded couple.
2. After lunch today we have a programme of recitals of poems by Bhartiben and Pankaj Vora who are our guests today. Jayantbhai Doshi briefly introduced them and the husband and wife duo recited some harmonious poems. Many thanks to them on behalf of Kendra.
3. Next Thursday on 22nd May we have an ‘Antakshri’ programme and this will be in a different format.
4. On 29th May we will have Part II of the Quiz programme (continued from 1st May)
5. On 5th June we have a very interesting debate on the topic : “Parnela Sukhi Ke Kunwra”. Already 17 names have been received by Jasuben Sheth and they are all requested to come prepared. Time limit will be 3 minutes.
6. Next month 24 participants go on a cruise of Iceland on Queen Victoria. If more wish to join, they will be taken only if cabins are available.
7. We will arrange a visit to SHARD and go to the top (Charge is £25) in mid-May. The Shard is the tallest building in London rising to 85 stories and just this week the tallest luxury hotel in Europe – Shangri La ( based on floors 35 to 52) opened. Nearby is a wonderful Borough Market where one can buy Indian food. Those interested are requested to give their names to Ellaben Shah.
8. There will be an exhibition of Chin Maya Mission in the outside lobby in the afternoon. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
9. Gujarat Samachar has invited all to a Celebration Party in honour of Shri (or President) Narendra Modi on this Saturday at this venue at 3.00 pm
10. Everyone is requested to sign in the Register and Guests are requested to obtain guest pass from Vinod Parekh.
11. A video of an interesting act by a loyal family cat who saves the owner’s small son from an attack by a dog is being shown on the Sky News since early this morning.

Our apology to Shardaben J Shah when we had mentioned incorrect name on 1st May, for their donation of the total cost of preparing tea for the five Thursdays in the month of May, including milk, sugar, teabags, tea, biscuits, thermal cups etc. These have all been sponsored by Pritiben and Seju Shah ( and NOT Sejuben).
