1). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Jayantbhai Doshi and Manishaben conducted Yogic poses for toning up the back, thigh, knees and hamstring muscles.  Many thanks to both from Kendra.

2). DONATIONS: £101 from Manharlal Mohanlal Mehta who celebrated his 80th birthday this month.  Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations and we pray that he celebrates many more birthdays to come.

3). Today, after lunch we will have a discussion programme on the topic “Whatsup ki kamal ke dhamaal”.

(Jasuben called up the speakers giving each 5 minutes.  Many members spoke on the usefulness of Whatsup and many stated the continuous use of whatsup whole day. Some gave humorous talk on the subject.)

4). Next Thur – 24/1 we will have  a programme on India’s Republic Day celebrations.

5).   We have arranged a full day musical programme on Thurs – 7th March 2019 with a highly recommended music group – ‘Anand & Shefali’ from India.  Members will have to book their tickets for £1 and guests are welcome for £15.  Tickets from the Main Desk at the entrance from Kishor Doshi.

6).  Newsletter was forwarded to members by email early this month and a few hard copies are available for those who have no access to internet.

7). A few requests to new members : * Please ensure that the entrance to the Main door to Sattavis Patidar Centre and also the door to our Hall is always kept closed due to the extreme weather.    *  Many members have the same names, so try and write or give your full names when you have to submit forms or correspond with us.   * In the Membership form you have to give the names and contact address of your next of kin, but the email is yours and not the next of kin’s.

8). Navnat Vanik Bhagini Kendra has organised an evening of music with “Shama” Band to celebrate Internationals Women’s Day on Sat – 2nd March from 6.30 pm with Dinner at Hayes.  Tickets : £15 – obtainable from Jayshreeben Doshi.

9).  President –Vinod Parekh repeated the announcement  about the entrance doors to be kept shut as he was told by the Sattavis Patidar that members are ignoring this and the corridor is therefore remains cold despite heaters. * He also repeated that when the line to get up and queue for lunch is announced, disabled or others should not rush up to join in the queue.  Only wheel chair persons and their carers are allowed.  *  Anybody wishing to sponsor for “chaas” should give their names at the main desk.

10).  Jasuben Sheth announced about the programme after lunch and gave names of the speakers and also about the next week’s programme and requested members to come prepared for the Republic Day celebrations with songs etc.
