ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE ON THURSDAY 19th JUNE 2014

2. As usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
3. Next Thursday – 26th June Jayantbhai Patel will give a talk on vegetarian food.
4. From Sunday 22nd June, 26 members will go on a cruise of Iceland on Queen Victoria. We wish them a Happy Journey.
5. All the 80 persons who had joined in the Tuesday’s trip to Beaconscot trip had a wonderful time. Even the weather was bright and sunny. They also visited ‘Anupam Mission’ – Swaminarayan Temple and performed ‘aarti’ and had light meal. Kendra had provided ‘Vada Pau’ for lunch. DONORS : water for the trip sponsored by Dhanlaxmiben Mehta and Bhadraben Mehta. Crisps and breakfast biscuits by group of 7 ladies : Jasuben Mehta, Gitaben Mehta, Manjulaben Patwa, Manjuben Pindoria, Sunitaben Mehta, Hansaben Mistry and Ella Shah. Kendra’s thanks to all of them.
6. We have organised a whole day ‘Mid-summer Musical Programme’ on 17th July from 11.00 am to 3.30 pm and there will be no Yoga. Members will have to book their names in advance on payment of £1. Guests will be allowed for £10 on advance booking.
7. We have arranged a 12 day trip to Turkey from 4th to 15th September. Full details have been sent by email. The charge for members is £910 and for non-members -£925. Names to be given to Chimanbhai Sheth – TEL : 01442 768959 – email : dischiman@gmail.com . A deposit of £400 will have to be paid by end of June.

10. Premlataben Parekh’s fasting continues and today is her 19th day. Kendra wishes her best of luck.
11. Everyone is requested to sign in the Register and Guests are requested to obtain guest pass from Vinod Parekh.
12. Jasuben gave her thanks to all the participants in the last debate programme, which was enjoyed by all and even the Chairlady for the debate had remarked of the high standard. She announced that the next programme at the end of July will be short gujarati ‘natak’ and requested all members who were interested to give their names to her or Vinodbhai Kapashi. She said that there will at least 4 to 5 practise sessions and those willing to join should be able to come and attend all these sessions.
