NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 20th OCT 2016
1). DONATIONS:  * £51 from Dinaben Dilip Bilakhia, who is celebrating her 80th birthday today.  Kendra’s Heartiest Congratulations, Best Wishes and pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.  Everyone joined in singing ‘Happy Birthday’ song for her.
    * £25 from Shardaben Surendra Modi to celebrate the birth of a grand-son – Madhav on 16/9 to proud parents – Devesh and Vrajgopi Modi.  Heartiest congratulations to all.  Also she has sponsored special pendas for all members, which will be distributed at lunch time.  Many thanks from Kendra.
2). After lunch we will have a cookery demonstration By ‘Shakuben’ of Navnat Vadil Mandal, and as usual at tea time, Kendra will provide the sponsored Tea and Biscuits.

3).  Next Thurs – 27th Oct we will have ‘Ankut’ display and if you want to give any food dish please contact Krishnaben Mehta.

4). On Friday – 28th October, we have organised a trip to Balaji Temple, near Birmingham and Leicester to see the Diwali lights.  The coach will start from Kenton Library at 9.30 am and we will return from Leicester at around 8.00 pm. All joining the trip is requested to arrive latest by 9.15 am. 

5).  On Thurs – 3rd Nov we will celebrate Diwali with a full day Musical programme and Special lunch.  There will be no Yoga.  Members will have to book by buying the usual £1 ticket so that we can make appropriate arrangements.  Guests will be welcome for £15.

6).  Renewal of membership for 2017 has started and members are requested to   complete the renewal form in every detail and hand over the same to Punambhai Patwa with payment of the £ 90 fees.  The deadline for renewal is 15th Dec 2016.  If you do not intend to renew your membership, please let us know.

7).  All members are again requested to ensure that they give full details on their renewal forms and also ensure that they stick the emergency contact of their nearest kin on the back of their Membership Card.

8).  Members interested in knowing how to play Bridge are requested to come upstairs conference hall immediately after lunch.

9). Navnat Vanik Bhagini Samaj has arranged a programme called ‘Chilli and Chocolate Evening with midnight feast on Sat -12th Nov at Hayes from 6.00pm.  For tickets contact our member – Purnimaben Mehta.

Also they have organised a 18 day tour of Veerayatan, Raan Utsav, Palitana and South India next year from 21st Jan to 7th Feb 2017.  Cost £1765.  Further details from our member – Bhartiben R Shah.

10).  Jayantbhai Doshi announced that those who are joining in the Leicester trip should come to the Kenton Library latest by 9.15 am and those who are interested in knowing how to play Bridge should come upstairs after lunch for a brief basic briefing.

He also informed that the Gujarati film show "WRONG SIDE OF RAJU" has been postponed as Safari Cinema is closed for two weeks because of leakage.  Those who want their refund can collect from Punambhai Patwa. Others can wait until a new date is given.
