NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 2nd FEB 2017
1). Today,  Jayeshbhai Shah conducted the Warm up Yoga and Manishaben conducted all lthe body muscles tone up.  Thanks to both of them.
2).  DONATIONS :  * £ 51 from Nainaben and Bhagwandas Bakhai on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary on 4/2.  Kendra’s thanks and Heartiest congratulations to them.  We pray that they enjoy many more anniversaries to come. 
                 *  ‘Chaas’ for the month of February is sponsored by  Kundanben Jayantilal Malde in memory of her late husband and Madhuben Gulab Shah on the occasion of birthday of their son Sanjay.  Kendra’s many thanks and Best Wishes to them.   
                 * Tea and Biscuits for the month are sponsored by Induben and Sobhagbhai Zaverchand Shah.  Many thanks from Kendra.

3). After lunch we will have a  first-hand account and talk on the “Notbundhi” – demonetisation of currency in India by Vinodbhai Kapashi and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide the sponsored tea and biscuits.

4).  Next Thur – 9th Feb we will have programme of proverbs – “Gujarati Kahevato”.

5). Our monthly Newsletter for February has been emailed to members and also uploaded on our website.

6).  We only have 14 more days before our grand programme to celebrate Kendra’s 10th Anniversary on 16th Feb.  All preparations are well in progress  and the colourful Souvenir is now ready in India and so are some surprise items for members.  Members can also indicate their preference in seating with their friends on the lists kept at the Main Table. There are grand prizes for Raffle to be drawn on that day.

7).  Vinod Parekh announced that Kendra is sorry and apologises for any inconvenience caused today due to the problem in parking etc, but we had no option due to the short notice given to us of the wedding in the ground floor halls.  He also requested members to read properly all the information sent by emails to members, instead of rushing to phone him as everything was clearly stated.
He also announced that the dress code on the 16th Feb programme at the VIP
lounge is saris for ladies and suits for gents.
