NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 8th DEC 2016
Kendra’s many thanks to Dineshbhai Shah on conducting the warm up Yoga and to Manishaben for her conducting special Yoga for men to improve their internal organs around the stomach and thighs.
1). DONATIONS: * Today’s lunch is sponsored by Jayantilal Sheth on the occasion of his wife – Taraben’s birthday which was celebrated on 4th Dec and also on their 64th Wedding Anniversary this month. Kendra’s Heartiest Congratulations and Best Wishes and we pray that they celebrate many more birthdays and anniversaries to come.

(Jayantilal and Taraben Sheth and Neetaben were called near the Stage and everyone joined in singing the “Happy Birthday” song for them.

2). After lunch we have organised solo music from Shaileshbhai Vyas and as usual at tea time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits. This singer had come at our gathering previously and he sang lively songs.
3). Next Thurs –15th Dec we have a programme of Karaoke music.
4). Please note that for Renewal of membership for 2017 you only have till next Thursday. If you have not renewed by then, we will assume that you do not want to renew. Todate 372 members have renewed their membership for 2017. Those who have already paid, should collect their receipts and Membership Card from the Main Table.
5). The Newsletter for December has been emailed to members and also uploaded on our Website. A few hard copies are available for those who have no access to internet.
6). We have only 70 more days to go for our grand 10th Anniversary programme on Thur – 16th Feb 2017. This will be a full day programme with sitting lunch and live music. Please get your tickets for £5. Also arrange to share cars as there is limited parking. All our plans are on schedule and our Souvenir is progressing well. We have received great support from members and businesses who have given a lot of advertisements. Originally our intention was for a 80 pages souvenir, however it now seems that we have to go for 100 pages. Several members have given well wish messages and these have been set very colourfully and artistically in the brochure. If you are still interested to give more wel-wish messages or adverts then next Thursday will be the last day.
7). There will be another show for the Gujarati thriller film : Wrong Side Raju by public demand on Sat 17th Dec at – 5.00 pm at the Safari Cinema, Harrow. Tickets are £5 each and you are interested, these are available at the Main Desk. Those of us who saw the film on its first show in UK a few weeks ago really enjoyed the same.
8). Please note that this year we will be open as usual on 29th Dec. (normally we are closed during the Christmas/New Year period
