NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA - ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THUR – 8th FEB 2018
1). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Jayeshbhai Shah and Bhavnaben conducted the main Yoga. She made everyone perform ‘garba’, roar like a lion, taught how to be 2 years younger and made all laugh throughout. Many thanks to both from Kendra.
2). DONATIONS : * £21 from Kumudlal Mehta on the occasion of his birthday tomorrow. Kendra’s Heartfelt thanks, congratulations and we pray that he enjoys many more birthdays to come.
3). After lunch today we will have Antakshri and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
4). Next Thurs – 15th Feb we will have Valentine Day celebrations.
5). We had requested 10 names to attend the Lions Senior Citizens programme on Sun – 18th Feb from 1.30pm at the Harrow Leisure Centre. Preference will be given to those who have not been to this programme previously.
6). If you are interested in joining the Sri Lanka tour from 11th to 23rd March. Cost £1500 pp., which includes Air fares, Hotel accommodation, Breakfasts and Dinners, please give your names to Vinod Parekh.
7). A reminder to all Committee Members. A meeting will be held on Mon -12th Feb at 10.00 am at this venue.
8). For information of members, the Reserve Bank of India has issued a new directive that from now onwards every non-resident and foreigner leaving India will have to compulsorily change India Rupees left in their possession into foreign currency when they board the flight.
9). Vinod Parekh announced the names of all joining in the Lions Senior Citizen programme and requested them to come and collect their tickets from him and also requested that if someone cannot attend he should be informed.
