ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 9TH JULY 2015

After the end of Yoga session, Manishaben gave an example of a relative in India suffering from rheumatoid Arthritis and who was given health tips with Yoga exercises for joints by skype.  He is now feeling much better. Now Manishaben is giving several persons Yoga sessions by skype.  We wish her best of luck in her endeavours to give relief to persons with problems.

President – Baburai Shah announced that some members are utilising a lot of space in between when keeping their Yoga mats and others whilst sitting on chairs.  He requested for all members co-operation in ensuring that everyone is considerate towards others, now that many members are attending our gatherings. Also some members occupy space near the entrance door only thus being inconsiderate for others who arrive later on.  He requested that all should try and sit or keep yoga mats as far as possible from the entrance area, so that other can have a chance to sit. 

1. It is with a deep sense of loss and sorrow that we have to inform the sad news of ‘Arihantsaran’ of our member – Indiraben Rameshbhai Shah- Age 69 - on 5th July. Her funeral took place yesterday. Our sincere condolences to the family and we will observe a minute’s silence to pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace.

2.  DONATIONS :   * £51 from Surendra Mandalia on the occasion of Hansaben’s birthday today.  Thanks to him from Kendra. Everyone joined in singing the Happy Birthday song for her.  Our Best Wishes to her and we pray that she enjoys many more birthdays.
      * ‘Chaas’ for the month of July is sponsored by Kundan Vinod Parekh. Kendra’s many thanks to her.

3.  After lunch today we will have a talk by Nuttanben Tanna, a Specialist Consultant from Northwick Park Hospital, on osteoporosis and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve tea and biscuits.
Several members stayed behind to listen to the well-presented and informative talk given by Nuttanben with slides. Credit goes to Pragnaben Mandalia for arranging this health talk.

4.  Next Thursday – 16th July, we will have a gujarati natak by our members.  This has been directed by Vinodbhai Kapashi.

5. Due to the hot weather and combined with performing Yoga, all members were requested to drink water so that no one is dehydrated.
  
6.  Those who had joined in the film show – TANNU WEDS MANNU RETURNS last Tuesday enjoyed the film and the lunch thereafter. We regret to inform members that there will be no film show in August as the Theatre has declined to give any show.

7. We have organised a mid-Summer Musical Programme on Thurs -13th Aug.  This will be a full day musical programme with sitting lunch and there will be no Yoga on that day.  The programme will start at 11.00 am and as usual members will have to pay £1 to register in order to monitor the number of people attending and for catering purposes. Guests are welcome – charge £15.  Please collect your tickets from Main Desk.  On this day we will have a grand celebration for our achievement of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services.  A special musical band has been invited and they have promised a memorable day.

8.  Our walking Group now has over 30 members who regularly come early to walk in groups. Several members have sponsored the drinks and refreshments.

9.  We have announced several times about parking your cars.  Please make sure that from now on that you park properly and only in the parking bays as it is a busy season for Sattavis Patidar Centre.

10.  Please note that a form has now been devised for applicants wishing to put their names on our Waiting List. The form will now only be completed by the applicant and given to Jayantbhai or myself.  Request for form is to be made by email to us and we will forward the same by email.

11.  Jain Social Group Middlesex has organised a Boat cruise on River Thames on 19th July Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.   The boat will leave Westminster pier at 11.30 am.  The trip includes Lunch, Snacks and Bollywood music by a DJ. Cost £20. Contact Aswin Vora 0208 445 8783
