1.DONATIONS : £11 from Pushpaben Harsukhbhai Mehta on the occasion of her 75th Birthday.  Our thanks and Best Wishes to her. We also pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.

2.  After lunch today we will have a demonstration of Rangoli by Manjuben Pindoria and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide the sponsored tea and biscuits.

3.  On next Thursday – 25th, we will have a special Quiz programme.

4.  We hope to start our film shows again.  The next film show will be on Tues – 7th July. Full details will be given next week.

5.  NVK was on the TV show last night – on MATV channel 793.  Our President – Baburai Shah and Hon. Secretary – Jayantbhai Doshi talked on how Kendra was established and what we are doing for the elderly people.  The fact that the show was broadcast on TV will not only have a broad effect on our work for the elderly, but many more people now will be aware of this. Last week there was a good article in the ‘Gujarat Samaachar’ by Jyotsnaben Shah.  Our heartiest thanks to her.

6.  This Sunday-21st is the World Yoga Day and millions of people all over the world will be participating in some Yoga postures on that day. Also ‘Fathers Day’ is on the same day.

7.  It is one year since some members started bowling and today 10 members have joined. It is a wonderful relaxing game, and something that can keep active in old age and give some good social life. Even ladies should consider joining as it is a very enjoyable game. For details contact Jayantbhai Doshi.

8. Pragnaben Mandalia and several other Kendra members worked as volunteers last week and devoted their time to raise funds for the Diabetes and Heart Diseases.  Well done – and keep up the good work.

9.  Everyone, including guests, is requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table. Guests are requested to obtain their Pass from Vinod Parekh.

10. Vinod Parekh announced that members should book and pay for any programme arranged by Kendra, when they are sure that they will be able to attend the same.  Please note that once any programme – like, film show, picnic etc, is booked, the same cannot be cancelled for any reason and no requests for refunds will be entertained.
