* £21 from Premlataben Parekh on the occasion of her 92nd Birthday which was on 3rd June. Kendra’s thanks and wish her Happy Birthday and pray she enjoys many more to come. She is also fasting for the 4th day today. Best luck to her.

Kendra will not accept any more biscuit donations from July as this will be part of Tea donation. You can sponsor Tea and Biscuits for a month for £60 from July onwards.
2. After lunch today we have a we have a very interesting debate on the topic : “Parnela Sukhi Ke Kunwra”. Time limit will be 3 minutes. Jasuben will give full details. As usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits. (There were 8 members who spoke for parnela and 8 members who spoke for kunwara. Some very interesting ideas and thoughts were recited.
3. Next Thursday – on 12th June we will have a comedy programme from Shailesh Sagar, who has come from India.
4. On Tuesday 10th June we go to city and have a panoramic view of the city from the top of the tallest building – The Shard and later on visit the borough market where Indian food is available. All the members who had given their names are requested to pay £25 to Ellaben Shah. Those who would join at Wembley Park Station (Jubilee Line) , are requested to be there by 10.30am and those coming direct to the London Bridge Station are requested to reach there by 10.45am.
5. On Tuesday -17th June, we have organised Kendra’s first Day Trip to BEACONSCOT, a model village with beautiful gardens, model railway and picnic grounds. Price per person is £15 for members and guests and this includes the Entrance fee of £6.00. Coach will depart from the Harrow Leisure Centre at 8.00 a.m. Lunch will be provided by Kendra. We intend to leave Beaconscot by around 5.00 pm. If you want to join then give your names to Vinod Parekh with payment. (Already received over 40 names today)
6. On 22nd June, 24 members will go on a cruise of Iceland on Queen Victoria. We wish them a Happy Journey
7. We are arranging a trip to Turkey in September and will give full details soon.
8. The Newsletter for the month of June has been forwarded by email to members and is also uploaded on our website. A few hard copies are available from me later on, only for those who have no access to emails.
9. Please remember that our Website : www.nvk.org.uk is now fully operational and you can read all our weekly Announcements, monthly Newsletters, reports etc. on site. Also photos of our various programmes, trips and events are uploaded on the ‘Galleries’ site.
