NVK’S MUSICAL PROGRAMME ON 7TH MAR 2019  AT SATTAVIS PATIDAR CENTRE
Today was a cloudy and windy Spring day with temperature of 11C, when we had our first musical programme of this year at our normal venue and though we had informed that the doors would be open at 10.00 am, and only volunteers should come before 9.30 am to make all preparations, many members were so excited that they turned up very early and everyone was full of enthusiasm, wearing smart dresses, colourful saris or suits. 

NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS –28th Feb 19

1). Jayantbhai Doshi – Secretary thanked Rakesh for conducting the Yoga today.

2). Today’s Yoga tutor was Rakesh Sheth and he conducted Yogic poses to tone up many body joints.  Many thanks to him from Kendra.

NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON FRI –21st Feb 19

1). Today’s Yoga tutor was Kumudben and she conducted various Yoga poses to tone up all body joints and also did the “pranayams”.  Everybody enjoyed her style.  Before she started she had requested members that during Yoga everyone must maintain complete silence and that members should only do Yoga poses which they can perform and not to overstrain.

(Members did maintain complete silence !!).
Our Secretary – Jayantbhai Doshi also thanked her.

1). Today, Mr Michael had come to teach the different styles about Tai Chi and its health benefits.

Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements.  Originally developed as a martial art in 13th century China, Tai Chi is now practised around the world as a health promoting exercise.  

NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON FRI –7th Feb 19

1). Our Secretary -Jayantbhai Doshi first informed members that Manishaben is proceeding on her holidays to India and wished her Happy Holidays.  He also stated that whilst she is on holidays, we will get new Yoga teachers every week from next Thursday.  On 14/2, we have Michael – a Tai Chi tutor and it will be interesting to learn this.
