NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS –16/8

1). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Dineshbhai Shah and Manishaben conducted Yogic exercises to tone up the lower back, other body joints and giving energy to internal organs.  Many thanks to both from Kendra.

2). After lunch today, we have an interesting programme –“NVK has got Talent” and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
Many members stayed behind to see some members giving their own experiences, singing songs/poems, recycling clothing into other usable articles, making cute pony tails etc.

3).  Next Tues – 21st August we will have part II of “NVK has got Talent”.

4).  Please REMEMBER next week we are meeting on Tues – 21/8.  Kindly inform other members, who you think do not have emails or who do not come often.  Also note the Manishaben has agreed to conduct Yoga on that day from 10.00 to 11.15am.  So if you want to do Yoga, come early.

5).  Our “Diwali Dhamaka” programme has been arranged on Tues- 23/10, which is during school holidays, so that we can have parking at the opposite school.  Also we have kept the cost to members as £5 only and £25 for non- members.  We are subsidising this programme at great cost for members, with full day music at VIP Lounge.  Tickets are being sponsored by Skylink and we should get the same soon.  We will start offering these in early September.

6).  ‘A’ Level results are out today and we are happy to note that some members’ grandchildren passed with excellent results.  Our Heartiest Congratulations to them.

7).  Jasuben  Sheth announced the names of this afternoon’s participants and also next week’s.  She also said that on 30/8, we will have a programme on “Janmashthmi” and any member wishing to bring “Prasad” should contact Manjuben Pindoria, Maltiben or Jayshreeben.

8).  President – Vinod Parekh announced  that last week we had found a Hearing Aid which was dropped by somebody.  He also announced about the picnic to Virginia Waters:  Any member wishing to come in his/her own transport could come, but must inform us details of all who are coming.  Member’s charge will by £5 (we have deducted the coach charge) and non- member’s £7.50.  Also we have now changed for a bigger coach so whoever wants to come should make payment to Punambhai Patwa.
