1). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Dinesh T Shah and the main Yoga conducted by Manishaben, who did several Yogic poses for most of the body joints. Thanks to both from NVK.
2).Sad News – With great sadness we have to inform the Arihant Saran of our member – Hansakumari Himatlal Mehta – Age 83 on 13/11/22. She was our member since Jan 2011. On behalf of all members, we send our heartfelt condolences to the family of late Hansakumari and pray to Lord Mahavir to rest the deceased's soul in eternal peace and give courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude.
We will now observe a minute's silence to pray for her soul.

4). After lunch today we will have Dr Kumarpalbhai Desai from India. We are indeed fortunate to have Padmashree Dr Kumarpalbhai who has written over 150 books and has received several awards. He was awarded “Ahimsa Award” in the House of Commons yesterday and our heartiest congratulations to him. He writes regular columns for many newspapers, too. You will find some of his interesting articles online if you go to Gujarat Samachar, Ahmedabad.
He will speak on “Pankhar ma Vasant” - How to improve our lifestyle, well-being and emotions in the old age.
Dr Vinodbhai Kapashi introduced Dr Kumarpalbhai Desai, who gave avery interesting talk and many members stayed to hear his talk. Secretary – Purnimaben Mehta gave vote of thanks and a token of Appreciation was given At Tea-Time, NVK will serve tea and biscuits as usual.
5). Next Thurs - 24th Nov we will have a programme on “Chai with Jasu”. This will be quite interesting as she always sets up some witty questions in her interviews with members and others.
6). Renewal of Membership for 2023 at the Front Desk has been going on well and only a few members now remained to do so. If you have not yet renewed, please do the renewal of your membership. Also those who have already submitted their Form and fees will be given their NVK ID card which is now ready.
