1). President - Vinod Parekh announced that they were Happy to be back and welcomed all members. They had a good time in their family holidays.
* He said all who are transferring money through bank should give their membership number. He also said all who had already transferred their fees by Bank should complete the Renewal Forms and specially the second page where they must sign the Disclaimer clause.
* On behalf of NVK, he wished all members a very Happy Christmas festivities with their family and friends.
* We meet next Thurs – 29/12/22 – the last gathering this year as usual.
2). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Jayeshbhai T Shah and the main Yoga was conducted by Manishaben, who gave healthy tips and also did several Yogic poses to tone up body joints. Thanks to both from NVK.
3). DONATIONS : £51 from Jyotiben Gandhi who is celebrating her 81st Birthday today. Kendra's thanks and Best Wishes and hope she will enjoy many more birthdays to come. Everyone then joined in singing the birthday song - “Baar bar ye din aayee....” sung by Purnimaben Meswani.
Secretary – Purnimaben Mehta announced that some goodies have been donated by well-wishers to celebrate our Christmas festivities. Everyone will be given a bag of goodies containing anti-bacterial wipes and a calendar when you go for your lunch. The packets of wipes have been donated by Manish Shah of Sigma Pharmaceuticals and the Calendar by Nick , and Sarju Shah of Oyster Properties. NVK's many thanks to Sigma Pharmaceuticals and Oyster Properties for donating the Desk Calendar. We also thank Vanitaben and Shantibhai Shah for arranging the collection and transportation of all items to Sattavis Patidar Centre.
Also Creamy Cookies in packets have been donated by Krishnaben Kirti Mehta for Christmas celebration to be given to each person. Kendra's many thanks to both.
4). After lunch today, we will have Christmas Carols by the Gospel Choir of St. John's Church, Harrow - which has been arranged by Ellaben Shah and also songs about the Christmas Festival by grand children of members.
(It was amazing to see nearly “Housefull” attendance by members and Guest staying behind till the end to hear the carols. First the few grand children of members recited their Christmas songs to bring the true Christmas festivity really started. All were very nicely and melodiously sung. Then the Gospel group started their choirs which livened up the entire Hall. Most of the well known carols really made members to stand up and start dancing and clapping with the Group. A few Hindi carols which were sung by a group of young ladies and a Guitarist was very very lively and everyone enjoyed the musical beats standing up.
Everyone enjoyed the wonderful Choirs and they were presented with tokens and Vinodbhai Kapashi thanked the Group.. Also thanked was Ellaben Shah for making the arrangement to bring the Group.
All in all a very wonderful start to our Christmas festivities clearly depicted in the photos below
At Tea Time, NVK will serve tea and the sponsored biscuits as usual.
5). Next Thurs - 29/12/22 we will have our President – Vinod Parekh to narrate their wonderful experiences of holiday in Nepal. Also Dhirubhai Galani will give his wonderful experience of holidays in Meghalaya and Assam etc. Both are very interesting and amazing in their narration.
