1). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Jayeshbhai T Shah and the main Yoga conducted by Manishaben, who performed several poses for strengthening the hands, legs & thigh joints. She also gave very good health tips. Thanks to both from NVK.
2). Sad News – With great sadness we have to inform the passing away of our member –REKHABEN PRADIP PATEL – Age 71 on 20/11/22. She was the sister to our members – Yashwantbhai/Surendrabhai/Hasubhai and Arvindbhai Mandalia. Originally from Zanzibar, she had been our member since Jan 2010 and attended our gatherings regularly before Covid. On behalf of all members, we send our heartfelt condolences to the family of late REKHABEN and pray to Lord Krishna to rest the deceased's soul in eternal peace and give courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude.
Our President – Vinod Parekh who is on holiday in Nepal got the sad news and immediately sent me a special message that it was very sad to hear news of the passing away of another member of NVK and offered his heartfelt condolences to the family.
We will now observe a minute's silence to pray for her soul.

4). After lunch today we will have a programme on “Chai with Jasu”. This will be quite interesting as she always sets up some witty and humorous questions in her interviews with members and others.
At Tea-Time, NVK will serve tea and the sponsored biscuits as usual.

(Today Jasuben Sheth had arranged an interview with our elderly members – Hansaben Mistry and Hansaben Patani – both over 80s who had faced many ups and downs in their lives – facing many problems and how they endured the same right from their childhood through their marriage and how they arrived in UK. The questions she asked elicited very positive response and every few minutes the members in the Hall clapped and laughed. A very enjoyable interview - well liked by all members.
5). Next Thurs - 01/12/22 we will have have Hamirbhai Gadhvi & group with melodious Dayro, Lokgeet, Duha etc. Specially Zaverchand Meghani's famous poems.
6). Renewal of Membership for 2023 at the Front Desk has been going on well and only a few members now remained to do so. If you have not yet renewed, please do the renewal of your membership. Very soon we will announce the last date to renew, after which we will assume those who have not renewed that they do not want to be members and hence we will take new members. Also those who have already submitted their Form and fees will be given their NVK ID card which will be ready.
