1). The President – Vinod Parekh announced :
* We hope everybody has enjoyed the Diwali celebrations with your family.
* If anyone wants to sponsor “Chaas” for the months of November or December, please give your names to Kishor Doshi at the Front Desk.
* Please note that the Disabled people's Tables at Lunch Time will be supervised by our Secretary – Purnimaben Mehta and all volunteers should co-ordinate with her.
* We hope you all enjoyed our Diwali Dhamaka programme which has been our best attended programme with 360 persons. We have received many congratulatory messages on the programme and NVK is highly thankful to all those who sent these messages as our aim is to have more of such programmes which are enjoyed by all.
* He is going on holidays from mid- November for 28 days and in his absence the VP – Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi will be in charge.
2). Sad news - With great sadness we have to inform the passing away of our member – Shashikant Bharmal Shah – Age 81 on 26/10. He was the husband of our member – Madhugauri Shah. On behalf of all members we send our heartfelt condolences to the family of late Shashikant and pray to Lord Mahavir that the deceased's soul rest in eternal peace and gives courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude. We will now observe a minute's silence to pray for his soul.
3). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Jayeshbhai T Shah and the main Yoga conducted by Manishaben, who did Yogic poses for all body joints and muscles. Thanks to both from NVK.
4). DONATIONS : £25 from Jasuben Shah jon the occasion of the birth of a baby boy to her grandson – Riki & Meera on 'Dhanterash'. Kendra's thanks and congraulations to the family.
5). The programme after lunch today will be explained by Dr. Vinod Kapashi.
At Tea-Time, NVK will serve tea and biscuits as usual.
6). We have already started to accept Renewal of Membership for 2023 at the Front Desk. Please do the renewal of your membership.
7).Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi announced that we are going to have an interactive programmeof Quiz on Hindu religious organisations like – Swaminarayan, Hare Krishna, Jalaram etc. There will be questions and answers and full explanation on the various Religions will be given.
Many members took part and everyone enjoyed the same.
