1). Manishaben came today, though it was not as per agreed schedule, and started Yoga from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.  She conducted Yogic poses to tone calf, hip and shoulder joints and also did ‘Pranayam’ for internal organs.  Ushaben Mehta then continued to conduct Yoga upto 12.30 pm. Many  thanks to both from Kendra.

2).  DONATIONS: Puspaben Patel sponsored chocolates at lunch to celebrate the birth of a grand-son to her daughter – Seena.  Kendra’s Heartiest Congratulations and thanks to the family.

3). After lunch today, we will have team game, and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
Jasuben Sheth had organised  three teams to play a game of guessing the name of personality by asking questions.  Members enjoyed this game.

4).  Tomorrow is our grand Diwali Dhamaka programme at VIP Lounge.  Remember the gate will open at 10.15 am and also if you miss parking at VIP and have to go to park at the opposite school parking, there is now no right turn and you will have to go past the traffic lights and turn where  it is possible and go to the parking.

5). Many members have now renewed their membership for 2019.  We request members who have not yet renewed, should do so.  Deadline for renewal is 15th Dec and if you have not renewed by then, we will assume you do not want to renew your membership.  Please remember to sign Gift Aid (if applicable) and also Yoga disclaimer.

6). Hiteshbhai Mistry has informed us that the Government has been advertising as to how to check your state pension.  Also regarding TV licenses – if you are 75 or over, you are entitled to free licence.  If yu want any help on these, he is ready to help if you contact him.  Kendra’s many thanks to him.

7).  Navnat Vanik Association UK has arranged a graduation ceremony of Navnatees with dinner on Sat- 1st Dec2018 from 4.00 pm at Hayes.  Guests at £5.  Further details from Rameshbhai Shah.

8). It is that time of year when the clocks go back for winter, gifting members an extra hour in bed.  We will be gaining an hour from Sun – 28th Oct from 2.00 am in the morning – Kendra members can at least enjoy their lie-in by turning their clocls before they go to bed on Saturday.

9). Kishorbhai Lakhani has brought ‘Ajma’ plants and anyone interested can go to the front desk.

10).  President – Vinod Parekh announced: * that members including Committee members to share cars because of limited parking. *Next meeting will be on Thurs - 1/11 and then on Tues – 6/11 instead of Thursday- 8/11.  * During Navratri “Aarti” we had collected £45.41
