NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS –10/5

1). Today, Manishaben conducted Yogic poses to tone up internal organs and also all body joints. Many thanks from Kendra.

2). After lunch today, we will have members to narrate some interesting personal incidents in their lives, and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.

3). Next Thurs – 17/5 we will have the debate on “Jivan Sandhya Mate Ekalvayu Dur Karva Saathi Ni Jarur Che Ke Nahi ?”

4).  MCC Memories Cricket Match at Lord’s Cricket Ground this Sunday -  all who gave their names are requested to ensure that they collect their tickets from me later on.  *  Entrance from North Gate located at Wellington Place to the Grand Stand.    * Match starts 11.00 am.    * You can bring your own food and drinks.   *Some Refreshments available in hte Nursery pavilion.  * Entrance to the MCC Museum is free.    * All attending will get 2 vouchers which can be redeemed against Middlesex county matches this season.

5).  Newsletter for May has been emailed to members and also uploaded on our website.  Few copies are available for those who do not have access to emails.

6).  Members of NVK started playing Bowling about 3 years ago.  This year the group(with majority NVK members) won the Honda Classic Final competition with a prize of £150.  It is a very great achievement in such a short time and our Heartiest congratulations to all the players.

7).  Our member – Nalinbhai Udani has been elected as the President of Navnat Vadil Mandal.  Our heartiest congratulations to him.

8).  Vinodbhai Kapashi announced that a few names had been received for the debate.  However no one knew whether to speak for or against.  As such the programme after lunch was changed and he gave details.  Purnimaben Mehta read out the names of the speakers for the debate next Thursday.

9).  Our President – Vinod Parekh announced that we have continued with our care home visits and on 8/5 seven members made a visit to the Sai Care Home and performed several items.  All the 20 residents had joined in singing, quiz etc.  He thanked all who took part and special thanks to Purnimaben Mehta for successful organising.

FILM SHOW : Navnat Vadil Mandal had organised a film show : “102 Not Out” on 19/5 at Safari Cinema at 11am.  Tickets for £3 were available for those interested.
