NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 10th NOV 2016
1). Yesterday was the birthday of Manishaben and everyone joined in singing the “Happy Birthday” song and wished her a very Happy Birthday. Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations and wish that she enjoys many more birthdays to come and also pray that her health problems are cured.
2). DONATIONS: “Chaas” for the month of November is sponsored by Ansuyaben Bavisha and Kokilaben Sanghrajka. Many thanks to them from Kendra.
3). After lunch we have organised a programme on ‘Bhai Bij’ and as usual at tea time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
4). Next Thurs – 17th Nov we have a programme of Whist Drive.
5). Newsletter for November has been emailed to members and also uploaded on our Website. A few hard copies are available for those who have no emails.
6). Our Diwali music programme was a hit and everyone enjoyed the lively music and the delicious lunch and many members have sent messages of appreciation. All photographs have been uploaded also on the Galleries. You can see these at :

7). Renewal of membership for 2017 has started and members are requested to complete the renewal form in every detail and hand over to Punambhai Patwa with payment of the £ 90 fees. The deadline for renewal is 15th Dec 2016. If you do not intend to renew your membership, please let us know. Those who have paid, should collect their receipts from the Main Table. So far over 150 members have renewed.
8). If you have still not given your votes to Kendra’s project submitted to Aviva Community Fund we sincerely request that you open the site, register and give your votes. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 10 VOTES. Please ensure that you, family members and friends vote. Voting will open until 18th Nov. To-date our votes are only 408 as compared to other organisations who have received over 1200 votes. Today there are some volunteers who are willing to help you if you want to give your votes. Please note 8 more days are left to vote.
9). Our 10th Anniversary programme on Thurs – 16th Feb 2017 at the VIP Lounge – PARKING IS LIMITED HENCE WE ADVISE ALL MEMBERS TO SHARE CARS OR COME BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Also the tickets for members are now ready at the front desk and you can get the same for £5.
10). At the Oshwal Centre there was a play : “Maro Pati Sansthano Pati” on Diwali and our members Dineshbhai Shah and his wife – Minaxiben acted as Suraj and Ritaben. The play was highly applauded. We are lucky to have these talented members with us.
