Announcements made on 12th September.
1. Today’s lunch was sponsored by our member Usha Mehta on the 8th anniversary of her husband late Surendra Mehta. Surendra Mehta was one of the founding members and a committee member.
2. Last week Dr Vinod Kapashi gave a talk on Radical Forgiveness which members found interesting. Vinodbhai explained in length about forgiveness and its effect on individuals in life.
3. Today after lunch we will have cooking tips by several members. Next week the program with be Chai with Jashu.
4. At lunch time we are having many requests giving appointment or other reason why they need to go early ...and quite often we find that it is a lame excuse made up to get early lunch served. We are trying to please everyone and we will appreciate if members try to be more understanding with our work.
5. Diwali Dhamaka is on 22nd October Tuesday and the program will be from 11.00 till 3.30 p.m. with music and lunch. Tickets for members are £5.00 and £25.00 for guests. Tickets are on sale from today. Table sitting arrangements will be announced nearer the time.
We already have received few raffle prizes and if any members wishes to sponsor a prize please contact the President or Secretary.
