It is with deep sorrow that we have to inform the sad news of ‘Arihantsaran’ of our member – Sarojben Rameshchandra Shah - Age 72 - who passed away on 8/9 after a long illness.    We pray to Lord Mahavir to rest her soul in eternal peace and to give courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude.  Our sincere condolences to her family.  We will observe a minute’s silence to pray for her soul. Rameshchandra has said “Michhami Dukdam” to all members.

1). Today, Manishaben conducted many Yogic poses to tone all body muscles and also for some internal problems.  Many thanks to her on behalf of Kendra.

2).  DONATIONS :  * £51 from Dr. Mahendra S Vora who recently celebrated his birthday and £25 from Kusumben N. Doshi who also celebrated her birthday recently.  Heartiest congratulations to both from Kendra and we pray that they both enjoy many more birthdays to come.
                                   * Last month,  Dhirendrabhai Sanghrajka had donated to Kendra a Sony Vaio Laptop on his 80th birthday.  However, this donation was missed out in our Newsletter for September for which we apologise.

3). After lunch today, we will have a presentation on Anxiety and Depression.  This presentation was arranged as an interactive talking therapy workshop previously and this was highly praised by all who had taken part and that is why we have now arranged the same for all members. At Tea time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.  (Specialists from NHS gave a very good presentation with slides and screen and it was good to see so many members staying behind for this presentation. Thanks to Pragnaben Mandalia for arranging this.

4). Next Thurs – 21st we will celebrate Navratri with Garba and Dandia.

5). Please remember not to stop Manishaben to ask questions whilst she is leaving the Hall. If you want to tell her about anything, then send an email to : and she will attend to it.  Or you can send her a Whatsup message on 07908681487.  You can even request our Secretary to do so on your behalf.  ALSO PLEASE DO NOT PHONE HER.

6).  The 41 members who had joined in the second trip to Wales last week are back and they all had an enjoyable and wonderful time.  Sudhaben Kapashi worked very hard to make the tour successful by making food packs, arranging garbas etc.  Many thanks from Kendra.
