1). Today, Jayeshbhai Shah conducted the warm-up Yoga and Manishaben Conducted Yogic exercises for back pain and Sciatica and also for hip joints.     Many thanks to both of them from Kendra.

2). DONATIONS :  * £51 from Vanik Council of UK for our activities for the elderly.  Many thanks to them from Kendra.
         * £21 from Bhartiben & Kishorbhai Kotecha on the occasion of the 1st Birthday of their grandson – Neevan- son to Deesha and Mitin Parmar.  Congratulations and Best Wishes from Kendra to the family.
        *£ 25 from an anonymous donor.  Many thanks from Kendra.

3). After lunch today we will play Bingo and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and the biscuits.
Several members stayed behind to play the Two Bingo games for which the one and two lines prizes were given by Kendra and both the First Prizes were donated by Kundanben Vinod Parekh.  Many thanks from Kendra.

4).  Next Thurs – 22nd March we will have a talk by Lalitbhai Mehta who will narrate his recent visit to Vaishnovi Devi Temple in India.

5).  We are pleased to inform members that our Mystery Trip is full and we will have to arrange 3 coaches.

6). Our 5 days/4 nights trip to the Lake District from 28/5 to 1/6 is also full as we are taking only one coach. Please make sure that you make your payment to Kishor Doshi. 

7). We have arranged our grand Spring whole day Musical Programme on Thur – 5/4 from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm here.  There will be a special sit down lunch.  Members will have to book their tickets for £1 (for catering purposes). Guests : £15.  Please get your tickets at the front desk.  Already over 250 members have booked their tkts.

8).  Mahavir Foundation is bringing new “Murtis” and performing “Prathista” programmes.  First programme is on Sun – 1st April at the Kingsbury High School where “Sidhha Chakra pujan”, engraving name on the murti and its “Uchhavani” with lunch has been arranged.  For more information and lunch tickets – contact Vinodbhai Kapashi.

9).  President – Vinod Parekh announced : * Since first week of April is deemed to be “Commonwealth week as it coincides with the gathering of Commonwealth heads of states, our Grand Musical Programme will now be appropriately called “Grand Spring and Commonwealth Day Musical Programme.            *  Smart Phone/ Gas Billing – last week we had announced if any member wanted to learn how to use smart phones , Hansaben Mistry’s son – Hitesh had shown interest in teaching the members about the phone.  If you are interested, please give your names to Punambhai Patwa today.
      * Please note that children will not be allowed in the Musical programme.
