NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS –16th May ‘19
1). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Dineshbhai T.Shah and Manishaben apart from conducting Yoga, gave details and also actually showed on how to deal with ‘Pachoti’, gas in stomach etc. by pressing points etc on other members bodies. Kendra’s many thanks to both.
2). DONATIONS : £25 from Manjulaben & Dr. Manubhai Shah in celebration of the occasion of their grand-son – Ravi Ajay Shah, who passed his Doctor exams with Distinction in Cambridge University. Kendra’s Heartiest Congratulations and Best Wishes.
3). After lunch today we will have a lecture/talk on the subject “Blind Faith”- “Andh Vishvas”. Also on what is ‘muhurt’, ‘rashi’ does the planets affect you, age old beliefs etc etc. Dr. Vinodbhai Kapahi will give this very interesting talk with slides.
(Many members stayed behind to hear Dr. Vindodbhai Kapashi’s detailed talk with the help of slides. He explained on old beliefs, planets etc. Good or bad ‘Muhuruts’ and everybody enjoyed the same)
4). Next Thurs – 23/5, we will have ‘Antakshri’ with some new ideas.
5). We have arranged our next tour which is a Mystery Tour from Mon -29/7 to Fri – 2/8. Cost for members is £ 150 and non-members £175. Book your place with full payment to Purnimaben Mehta/Kishor Doshi. We are indeed proud to have over 200 members and guests having booked this trip.

7). One of our hit programme best liked by majority of members is Bingo and whenever we organise Bingo games, many members stay behind to take part. Also NVK does not charge anything. If any member wants to donate some prizes for our Bingo games, please contact the undersigned.
8). Harrow Council has organised a weekly ‘Harrow Dementia Hub’ on Tuesdays at the Bridge from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. It offers a weekly drop-in and opportunity to meet others living with dementia over a cup of coffee or tea. Carers, family and friends are also welcome. There are information and advice sessions, expert guest speakers etc.
9). Navnat Vanik Bhagini Samaj has organised a “Bhaktamar Stotra Aradhna Workshop” at Hayes Sat -1/6. It is free event but registration is requied. For further details, please contact Purnimaben Mehta or Bhartiben Shah.
10). You must have heard of the news that Whats App was attacked with advanced Cyber actor. If you are backing your chats on Google Drive or I Cloud, please note it is not protected and it is wise to disable this.
11). President – Vinod Parekh announced that many members are asking about the mystery tour. No one knows where this trip will be and we will only be informed at the time of our boarding the coaches. He also informed that cancellation will not be allowed unless replacement is found.
12). Vinodbhai Kapashi announced about what is right or wrong in the afternoon’s interesting programme with slides.
