NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS –19th JAN 2017
1). Today,  Jayeshbhai Shah conducted the Warm up Yoga and Manishaben conducted Yogic exercises for neck and shoulder joints.  Many thanks to both of them.
2). DONATIONS :  * £21 from Kantaben Vaid in remembrance of the ‘punya thithi’ of her beloved husband last week.
       * Bhartiben Kotecha has sponsored ‘Jalebi’ at lunch time to celebrate the ‘shrimant’ of her daughter Disha & Nitin Parmar, which was last Sunday.  Kendra’s heartiest congratulations to the family.

3). After lunch we will play Whist Drive and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.

4).  Next Thurs – 26th we will have a programme on India’s Republic Day.  Also, Pragnaben Mandalia has arranged a workshop by Talking Therapy from 10.30 am to 12 noon and the topic for discussion will be “Anxiety and Depression”.  Only 25 members who are registered with a GP in Brent or Harrow councils can take part.  If you are interested, please give your name to Pragnaben.  Also all who gave their names are requested to come latest by 10.15am. 

5).  Our grand programme for the 10th Anniversary on Thur – 16th Feb 2017 will be a full day programme with sitting lunch and live music and members requested to arrive before 10.30am.  Members are required to get their tickets for £5 and Guests £25 before 31st January.  Also remember to keep your ticket counterfoil with the number as there will be some fantastic prizes in Raffle on that day.  Members are requested to indicate their preference in seating with their friends on the lists kept at the Main Table.

6).  Jasuben Sheth announced that for the next week’s programme on Republic Day, members should come and wear ‘trirangi’ dresses.  She also announced that the Walking Group will continue as usual.

7).  Vinod Parekh gave more details of the 10th Anniversary programme:-

• Those who have given their names should collect their tickets.  This is a reminder  otherwise their names will be removed.
• Do keep your ticket as there is a Raffle Draw.
• Parking is an issue so kindly share cars.
• Apart from the parking in the Parking bays, you can park in the central line also, as per directions from the Parking Wardens.
• There is a lift only for the disabled who have problem to use stairs- wheelchairs.  Volunteers will guide you. Please help us so the process is smooth.
• Programme will start at 11.00 am so take your tables and be seated by 10.55am.  Gates will open at 10.00am
• Children will strictly not be allowed.
• If you want Jain food, please give your names to Ashokbhai Mehta.
• Seating Arrangements: some members names are duplicated. We reserve the right to rectify these.
