NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THUR –19th SEPT ‘19
1). It is with deep regret and sadness that we inform the passing away of our member – Nirmalaben Vinaychandra Savadia – Age 80 – on 16/9. Kendra’s heartfelt condolences to the family and we pray that the deceased’s soul rests in eternal peace and Lord Mahavir gives courage to the family to bear the loss with fortitude. OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI.
We will observe a minute’s silence in her memory
Funeral will be held today at 4.00 pm at the Hendon Crematorium.
2). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Dineshbhai T. Shah. Many thanks from Kendra.
3). DONATIONS : * £51 from Manjulaben Patwa in loving memory of her husband – Navinchandra Patwa, whose ‘Tithi’ is today.

4). After lunch today, we will have “Chai with Jasu” and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
(Lunch included ‘Ras Malai’ and samosa.)
5). Last week, after our normal Yoga, we had a visitor from USA - Vinodbhai, who had come to demonstrate and explain benefits of 'Laughter Yoga' Everyone enjoyed this. Many thanks from Kendra.
6). Next Thurs – 26/9, we will have a programme to celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi - ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ and there will be Garbas.
7). Our Grand Diwali Dhamaka programme for this year is on Tues- 22nd Oct at the VIP Lounge from 11.00 am to 3.30 pm with live Music and Lunch. As usual members will have to book their tickets for the programme. Members : £5 and Guests : £25. Please obtain your tickets from the main table. We will inform you about the Table arrangements later. Also we are going to have Raffle Prizes and we have already received a few. If you want to sponsor any prizes, please let us know. If you need Jain Meal, please let us know. Please also share cars due to limited parking available in the area.
8). If anyone needs help in finding where to start if anyone they know has a cancer diagnoses, a person has agreed to help. Please tell us so that we can give you the contact details of this person.
