NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 1st DEC 2016
1). DONATIONS: * ‘Chaas’ for the month of December is sponsored by Vidyaben Manharlal Mehta.  Many thanks to her from Kendra.
                             * Kundanben Parekh, wife of Vinodbhai Parekh celebrated her birthday on 25th Nov and her son – Anish has ordered Eggless cake for all members so that she Kundanben can celebrate with us.  Kendra’s Heartiest Wishes and pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.  Everyone joined in singing the Happy Birthday and also “Baar Bar Ye Din Aaye…” songs and she cut the large cake in front of the gathering.  This was distributed to members at lunch time.
                             * Purnimaben and Mahendrabhai Mehta have brought special “Pendas” to celebrate the engagement ceremony of their son – Rajiv to Ekta Bilakhiya on 20th Nov.  Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations to the family and Best Wishes.  The ‘Pendas’ were distributed to members at lunch time.
                             * £51 from Chhotalal P.  Kothary on the occasion of birthday of his wife – Sushilaben.  Kendra’s Heartiest Congratulations and best wishes and pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.
                             *£21 from Geetaben Mehta who celebrated her birthday on 22nd Nov.  Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations and Best Wishes and pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.
                             £11 from Kanakrai Doshi in memory of his wife – Lilaben (Lataben) who passed away on 10th Nov.
2). After lunch we have organised Anatakshri programme and as usual at tea time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.

3).  Next Thurs – 8th Dec we have a programme of solo music from Shaileshbhai.(He had come before to give his programme and he sings well.)

4). Todate 313 members have renewed their membership for 2017. Remaining members are requested to complete the renewal form in every detail and hand over to Main Desk with payment of the £ 90 fees.  The deadline for renewal is 15th Dec 2016.  If you do not intend to renew your membership, please let us know.  Those who have paid, should collect their receipts from the Main Table.

5).  Yet again we are highly pleased and grateful to our Hon. Secretary - Jayantbhai Doshi who always tries to become the Manager of overseas tours organised by us.  Thus not only getting the Manager’s salary for the Tour, but also he always donates the full sum to Kendra.  This time for the trip to Burma – when 14 people went on the tour, he got £2400 remuneration, which he has very kindly donated to Kendra. Kendra’s many thanks to him.  Well done and keep up the good work.
6).  Our 10th Anniversary programme on Thurs – 16th Feb 2017 at the VIP Lounge – PARKING IS LIMITED HENCE WE ADVISE ALL MEMBERS TO SHARE CARS OR COME BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT.  Also the tickets for members are now ready at the front desk and you can get the same for £5.

7).  Navnat Vanik Bhagini Samaj has organised a Christmas pantomime – “Cindrella” at Hayes this Saturday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.  Charges :Adults £7 and Children £5 including light lunch.

8). It is earnestly requested to members that should they have any problems about email messages, they should write a small note with their name and full email address and write what the problem is.  I have further noticed lately that many members have said that they are not receiving emails from me, and I have rechecked to find that messages are delivered and not returned through the network being used by the member.

9).  Sattavis Patidar Centre has organised a Charity Fundraising Event on this Sat – 3rd Dec at 6.00 pm.  Price is £15 and pamphlets are kept at the main table.

10). Jasuben Sheth announced that those who wanted to take part in the Antakshri programme should be ready after lunch and prepare in groups.

11)  The President of Sattavis Patidar – Maheshbhai came personally and spoke on the charity event which is organised to help the Spine surgeries in India and requested for any donations whatsoever.  Soon Kendra collected £375 and this was given to the Centre.
